- Be diligent
(a strong will for God), not obstinate (a strong want against God).
- Hunger for spiritual nourishment as much
as you hunger for physical nourishment.
- Overcome temptation by focusing on God.
- Learn to die to the
world so that you may begin to live with Christ.
- Press on! Be diligent in prayer as you journey homeward.

- Do not look for comfort in
others. Diligently seek out and enjoy God, and nothing will trouble you.
- Trust God - not people.
- "It is good for me that I was humbled, so that I may learn
your statues." (KJV)
- Seek, and find comfort in God
- As a plant grows when the days become longer in Spring, so can I grow the more time I spend
in God's Light.
- Repent,
forgive, wait.

Just as your physical muscles have become stiff
through lack of stretching exercise, so have your spiritual muscles become. Trials stregnthen your spiritual muscles. Prayer and devotion to God stretch them so they
become flexible and won't snap under life's
trials.

Be an open channel of God's love.
